Saturday was a big day for us. We woke up very early to get to our pick-up destination a couple of blocks away. All 7 missionary couples, went to Paracas which is 4 hours south of Lima. We were so excited to go out of Lima and were looking forward to actually seeing the SUN! We are experiencing winter and many overcast, foggy days. Unfortunately, we did not see the sun. It was FOGGY there too! We had such a fun time though and truly enjoyed seeing the beauty there. We took a boat out to the Ballestas Islands, and which are considered the Peruvian Galapagos Islands. It was also cold as you can tell by our coats.
